Garnets Barr Double

Some impressive performance for the team last night at Perry Barr. Matt Garnet recorded an open race double care of Doobys Gone West and Sids Champ. Doobys Gone West showed his blistering early pace to take the Division 2 Sprint in 16.23. Sids Champ made it three wins on the bounce when going off a warm 5/4 favourite when taking the Standard over 480 metres in 28.77. 


It was a cracking mixed card at the West Midland track it was great how they named the open races after the GB Olympic stars. 


Jennas Pony ran a great race in the Division 1 sprint to finish a game second. Goa Leprechaun caught a flier in the stayers open. Leprechaun ran very well but the field had no answer to Ballymac Sandra who set a new track record in 39.88.
