2 for this week so far

Two winners to report as we start to leave this week behind. On Monday Ferneys Signora got back on the score card for the first time since May, She got everything spot on when leading all the way for a 29.17 and recorded a personal best by some 21 spots too!
Today, Lahana Ace recorded his first win at only the second attempt at Monmore. He took the A6 by the minimum margin in 29.45.

Thank You Richard

Rich Taylor's lucky spell continues.
After buying Westmead Clyde and Ferneys Signora last week they both won in their first race for Richard.
Thank you once again for your continuous support and lets hope your luck carries on.

Quad!

We scored a superb 4-timer on Saturday night at the Green.
Smokestack Levi, so unlucky not to win the 630m Open last week made amends in A3 winning easily by 3L in A3 class.
Rich Spirit ran a debut race full of promise and built on that in his very next race when bolting up by 4 1/2L in A4 in 28.87...loads to come from the son of Pleasant Moments.
The other A4 on the card was won by our own Headiton Sharpy in 29.26, Sharpy is steadily coming back to his very best form now.
The final leg of our quadruple was bought up by Ryders Ellie when she pretty much led all the way in S4 to win in 39.09.

On you go Dot!

Right now I think i could beat anyone in a flip of the coin challenge. We have come out on top of so many short head victories in the past few weeks. Today it was the turn of Swift Dorothy, a Monmore maiden after seven races...no more!
She was given an excellent chance by the grader and thankfully did the business when winning A7 in 29.27 today.

Clyde...you're alright son!

Westmead Clyde did the business on Friday, from humble beginnings in A10 at Henlow he has now won A3 at Monmore Green. Sure he has his own way of getting the job done but you can't fault his record now...way to go Clyde!

Two Wednesday warriors

The weekend is almost here!
Wednesday we had a double with Coolagown Lolly and Pennys Gatsby.
Lolly got off the mark at her 5th attempt when taking A8 by 2 1/2L in 29.55.
Pennys Gatsby won by the A6 in 29.24 with the first four dogs being split by Sh, Sh and a Hd.

Flying!

No less than 7 winners to catch up on over the last few days.
On Friday Geneva Ger won heat 1 of the Owners Bonus Series S2 when prevailing by 3/4L in 38.78. Fingers crossed for the final. On the same card, Headiton Teeny won in A7 again after dodging an upgrade despite a recent win in the same grade.

Saturday was fill yer boots day with no less than 4 winners for the camp.
Seoul Aurora was first up, she had been struggling to adjust to A4 class after that good win in A6 but made no mistake on her fifth attempt with a comfortable 3 1/2L win in 29.11. When she shows that early she's hard to beat.

Express Bressie was dropped to A10 and the result was instant when winning by 3 3/4L in 29.52.
Afan Thor, previously as high as A3 class got back in the winners circle with a 2L A7 win in 29.40.

The four timer was bought up by Droopys Fafe, this girl is really flying again and showing great EP to take the A1 by 2 1/2L.

This afternoon Miss Jodee flew the Westview Flag when prevailing by a short head in 28.86 A4 class.

Shilling coining it in!

Talk about striking whilst the iron's hot!
Large Shilling makes it 3 wins from his last 4 races today.
The A3 win on Saturday was followed up with an A2 win today. Onwards and upwards for the Shilling!

Headiton too Sharp

Great to see Headiton Sharpy get back on the podium yesterday afternoon. Without a win since June, the blue son of Droopys Jet ground it out for a 29.26 victory in A5

Reposted!

Looks like my Thursday post did not publish.
We had two winners on the night.
Pascals Law, who despite running with great credit had not won since that 28.20 A2 demolition job back in April, got back on his pedestal when winning the maiden 480m Open at the Green at Evs!
Soon after our own Blue Majestic upset favourite backers when holding them all the way to win the 630m Open in 38.44, this fella is a win machine!

Luck?

Two winners on Friday followed by a great four timer on Saturday has brought the kennel to top form once again.
First up was Geneva Ger, who led at the 6th bend to win S2 in 38.74.
Next up was good ol' Flandy Megry, the May 2012 daughter of Cashen Legend added yet another win to her CV when getting up near the line to win S3 in 39.01.

We caught fire on Saturday evening when Afan Jack set the tone when maintaining that 1-4-1-4-1-1-4-4-1 sequence with a hard fought A4 win in 29.04.
Recent bargain buy Coolagown Blush did not have to wait long for her first win, she hit the crossbar last week but made no mistake when winning the A5 in 29.18...loads more to come from this daughter of David Bale.

La Viento has had some issues her fledgling career but fair play to Monmore, they gave her a chance to atone in A10 and she did not put a paw wrong by winning 1L in 29.77.
Finally Large Shilling continued his run of top form when making it 2 from his last 3 in A3 company in 28.82.

We seem to be at the right end of some very close finishes for a change which reminds me of the old maxim....there is only one sure thing about luck, and it's that it WILL change.

A Brace

A couple of winners to acknowledge as we move toward the weekend. Last night Student Princess recaptured a little of her May form despite a troubled passage when winning A4 last night in 29.09.
In the next race Droopys Fafe who had previously only mixed it in OR/A1 class in 2017, appreciated the ease to A2 company when proving too good for the opposition clocking 28.86

A brace

A nice double on Saturday at the Green. Headiton Teeny was first up, without a win since late June she took her chance well in A7, steering a wide course throughout to clock 29.41.
Barnagrane Glen showed she is still a force to be reckoned with in A1 company when leading all the way to score in 28.54
