A night to celebrate

Two winners for team at Monmore last night. The home reared Yorkshire Lady (pictured) won her first Open Race for owners Mr and Mrs Torrie who were celebrating their wedding anniversary last night. Lady took the Division 2 630 race in 30.00 by 2 1/2 lengths. 


Thomas Kelly also had a great night as he had brought down his parents from Scotland to see Bolt Ya Rocket take the 480 Open. Rocket was sent off a warm 4/5 favourite but other that a traffic problem on the first corner he led all the way to win in 28.46. Thomas's daughter Fifi collecting the trophy looking very proud.


It was nice to see families having a good night out at the dogs and enjoying this wonderful sport.
