Bawna Sapphire,who was second on her debut, stuck to her task well when taking the A4 in 29.03. The local punters were ready to back our Uncle Des in the A5 races. Clearly they fancied dog from his debut race. They proved right with their confidence as he romped to a 6 1/2 length win in 28.82.
