Exocet lands Kent Derby Master Plan

Roly Woodcock was smiling big style on Thursday evening when his Exocet produced the goods in the John Smith Kent Derby Final landing the £8,000 first prize. Roly took the same prize with Ballycowen Dave.

Boxed in trap 4, Exocet came on level terms with Racy Thunder, but then cut across to force his way to the front of the field. From there Exocet turned on the gas to lead the field a merry dance showing some unbelivable pace. There was no stopping him in the home straight as he went on to win by 2 1/2 lengths in 28.52

It well worth remembering Exocet was yet another dog sold off our blog and website. Fair play to Roly who was first on the phone to secure the deal.

All being well Exocet will head to Hove for a crack at the Olympic which starts next week.

Many thanks to Steve Nash for sending the photos quickly to our web team. Also many thanks for all your texts and tweets !
