Martin trained some top class dogs years ago including Proud Champ (English Derby Semi Finalist), Conspiracy Seb (Betfair Standard Winner and Monmore legend ) and Elliots Pride (National Sprint Winner). Martin plundered many big prizes in his early days but was never one to talk up his successes. When asked if a photo could be taken of one of his dogs at kennels his reply was "dogs photos should be taken on the wining rostrum only"
Martin has been a regular at Monmore since 1994 after previously working at Cradley, Norton Canes and Perry Barr. From all of the team here I hope he enjoys his retirement and enjoys the time he now with his family and those Koi carp he keeps.
