Red hot Thursday

The cards at Monmore are always competitive however we haven't been banging in our normal high percentage of winners. On Thursday it was nice to see the stunning Corrig Blue record her first win. Stepping down in grade to A6 she made no mistake as she recorded a smooth 28.81 by 7 1/2 lengths. Barntick Cove was another one who recorded an easy win as she took Heat 1 of the Sweepstake which was an A1 in 28.53. The punters then seemed to get stuck into Goodbye Mary as she took the A3 in 28.88.  In the final race of the night the newly arrived Droopys Agatha recorded her debut Monmore win with a run from last to first in the A2 in 28.66.
