Fifi's Rocket was our only qualifier for the Saturdays Semi Final of the Dave Lawrence Golden Crest at Poole. Rocket showed his customary early pace but was caught up in trouble at the first corner. he managed to seal the third qualifying space to return to Poole on Saturday. It was interesting to note Rocket remains 2nd favourite for the competition despite the defeat.
