Ballymac Ace put down his marker ahead of the Ladbrokes Gold Cup on Saturday with a smooth victory. Ace took the scalp of the highly rated Da Hatter when taking the competitive contest in 28.62. Ballymac Dolores broke from traps very well when taking the 416 open in 25.05. Killough Quinn recorded his open race win at Monmore when romping to a 6 3/4 length win in 28.72. Bosscroker showed his customary early pace when taking the scalp of Proud Dodge in 28.85. Andrees Diamond made it three victory's on the trot for us on the night when taking the closing open race in 29.50, staying on very strongly.
