Following on from our acquisition of 'Exocet' who recorded the
fastest sectional at Sittingbourne Sunday night.
We have just acquired another serious top open race dog from the
Emerald Isle.
This is a dog who was just one race away from reaching the final of
the 2013 £150,000 Irish Derby final at Shelbourne Park.
Slippery Sooty is an extremely well bred son of the legendary Top
Honcho' x Kildallon Maid. He is a full litter brother to the great Fear Emoski
who is one of the best stayers in the game today, winner of this years 2013
Regency at Hove.
This is a dog who has only ever competed at the highest open race
level. In this years Irish Derby campaign he was 2nd to the great 'Holdem
Spy' and arguably unlucky not to
beat him when he was challenging for the lead at the 3rd bend only to be baulked.
'Slippery Sooty' has also reached the Final of the highly
prestigious Joe Dunne Memorial at Shelbourne Park - This final contained the
likes of 'Slippery Ribert' winner of this years Irish Derby and the brilliantly
fast but ill fated 'Oran Maestro'(sold for £35,000) 28.15 at Shelbourne.(2nd in
the £80,000 Con Kirby memorial at Limerick. In the final 'sooty' bombed out and
led this years Irish Derby winner to the 1/2 way. In the finish he was only
beaten 2 lengths by 'Slippery Robert' in a brilliant winning time of 28.44.
'Slippery Sooty' has clocked a fantastic 29.70 for the 550 yards at
Shelbourne beating the likes of 'Paradise , lva' (who was sold for £40,000)
(28.02 at Tralee) - 'Sooty' beat the likes of 'Paradise Silva' 5 lengths .This
is yet another example of the kind of class he has been racing against.
Make no mistake this is a dog who has raced against and beaten some
of the best Top open racers in Ireland or the UK the sort money cannot simply
buy.
We believe that this dog will compete in all the major category one
events in the Racing calendar. We have also managed to secure this dog at what
we believe is sensible money compared to the dogs he has raced and beat.
Interested parties should contact me direct to discuss this top open
racer further. First come first served as always.
