Happy Mondays
Galtese Seb (Westmead Hawk x Galtese Mist) defied a two grade hike to take this afternoons A5 in 29.63 (Going unconfirmed). Direct View (Currently for Sale) won her second race on the trot when winning the A5 in 29.63 staying on very strong. I have been given the permission to sell Micks Cool and Micks Deer for just £500 each. These dogs would be perfect for Peterboro or Romford, they simply don't handle the 480 metres at Monmore.
A high five weekend
A super weekend for the kennel with five winners across the meetings we attended. Centaur Bliss kicked started the winners when she made it three wins on the bounce, winning the A3 in 28.93. Headiton Ezzy gave his supporters their first win when storming home in the A5 in 29.03. There was a welcome win for Snugfit Flyer in the A2 when impressing in 28.56. Switching to Coventry on Sunday, Rackethall Hero took the Maiden in 29.32, a deserved success for this young dog after a number of unlucky efforts. Head iton Paddy then recorded his first success of 2009 when winning over 680 metres in 43.30. We also had a couple of near misses care of Turar Abit 3rd, Rev Counter 2nd and Officer Donagh 3rd. Sadly Vancouver Dylan got no run at all after suffering traffic problems on the first corner.

Derby Plans
We have entered Cabra Fly (29.05) and Centaur Allstar (29.54) for the Blue Square Derby. Our fingers will be crossed for good draws in round one. We will be hoping to have more luck this weekend than we did on Tuesday at Coventry. Officer Donagh, Rackethall Hero, Rev Counter and Turar Abit will all take their chance.
Thursday Double
Tomos Black won his 10th career race last night when taking the A3 in 29.28. Direct View (currently for sale) brought the double up when landing the A6 in 29.24.

Saturday Night Fever
A welcome Saturday night treble for us last night at Monmore Green. Vancouver Dylan got us rolling when getting up in the last stride to win the Ladbrokes 480 in 28.80. This was his 4th Open Race win of 2009. Borna Edge landed the A3 in 28.95, this was just reward as she has been running very well but had no luck. Our final winner of the evening was care of Galtese Seb who won the final race of the evening in 29.13, a super performance by the young pup.

Allstar Sprint
For all those waiting for the trial times of Black Allstar, he clocked a rapid 16.94 at his first look at Coventry this morning. A very pleasing run. I will try and get some photographs of him at the earliest opportunity.
Gold hits the Bullseye
The Hawaii 501 syndicate owned Highview Silver landed a nice touch for connections yesterday when winning the A3 in 28.98. Purchased off the website for a bargain price then lad is very much still on the upgrade. The syndicate has had a cracking year to date with this lad and Bookem Danno. It was great to see the lads up at the kennels as they are purchasing a new recruit. Rackethall Hero
would have found less traffic on the M25 yesterday then he did around Nottingham last night. He was crowded at the first bend then badly bumped on the second. He will get his night very soon.

Aeroplane Spotted
I'm off to Ireland on Thursday to take in a number of trial sessions and race meetings. I am really looking forward to seeing the Big Daddy Cool pups featured on the site as they will have their final trials before I make the payment. They all found 4 lengths last week to confirm their potential. I have not got an owner for the fawn pup as yet, I really don't want to leave him behind. Whilst he is priced at £4,000 it could rapidly increase he he flies again. If you are thinking about it please call by Wednesday. I will be shortly posting a Open Class dog (A1 Shelbourne Winner). This lad looks ready made for the big competitions at Sunderland. It will have to be a case of first come first served.

Cabra Fly came through a gallop this week and will trial before racing at Monmore on Thursday and then all being well go to Wimbledon for trial with the Derby in mind. Burnpark Champ continues to progress and be have a trial in a couple of weeks. Rackethall Hero is entered to run at Nottingham on Monday.
Pretty Good Friday
Officer Donagh continues to show he is one of the most improved sprinters on the Open Race circuit when winning his 4th Open of the year when winning over 258 metres at Hall Green last night in 15.45. Rev Counter won the very next race, the Good Friday Seniors, when showing some great middle pace to win by over 4 lengths in 28.48. Droppys Jervis and Hollywood Idol just missed the target by both finishing second. Centaur Marine was eliminated from the Blue Ribband, whilst Turar Abit suffered traffic problems in running and could only finish 4th. During the afternoon racing at Monmore we had a tidy double care of Sunrise29.47 A7 And Ballbough Lady(For sale) 29.72 A8.

Bawna Gayle brought the double up when winning the A4 in 29.19. Gayle was only recently sold off the the sale page, its great when the dogs we sell give an instant return for the new owners.

The other highlight of trial session was Galtese Sonny (pictured- no link) who recorded a flying 28.80. A super run for such a young pup. Another sold off our for sale page. No Luck at the Office
A night of frustration at Coventry last night as we finished with two seconds. Hollywood Idol suffered traffic problems throughout the race and could only finish 5th. Rackethall Hero was made favourite despite a shocking draw. He battled on well but couldn't reach the winner. Rev Counter was beated two short heads to finish third. Vancouver Dylan (pictured) was beaten by just 1 length in 29.35.

Easy like a Sunday Morning
This morning I booked Outreach Photography to spend a couple of hours up at the kennels to meet a few of my loyal owners and to try and capture our friendly kennel atmosphere. The spring sunshine was a real pleasure for all who enjoyed their regular Sunday morning walk with their beloved dogs. Over the coming weeks we hope to develop a "Meet the Owners" page within the "Our Team" section of the website. Make sure you check back at regular intervals.(First 6 profiles now live)
