Thought is our Monday winner
Just the one winner for our team this afternoon at Monmore as Who Thought It took the afternoons A3 in 29.26. After a blast of early pace, Who Thought It, came under under real pressure in the closing strides of the race but the gutsy son of Ace Hi Ruble got up to win by a short head.

Getta sprints clear at the Green
Goa Getta (pictured) was at the top of his form last night at Monmore as he took the Ladbrokes.com 264 Sprint Open in a very smart 15.61 by 1 length. This was the dogs 6th career win and should hopefully continue to win races of the nature given a smart break from traps.
Start Itup Sooty didn't let the rise to A3 stop him adding another victory to his already smart recorded as he overcame some first bend crowding and then stormed clear coming out the third bend to go away to win by three lengths in 28.54.
Down at Wimbledon Farloe Luigi put in a whole hearted performance in Heat 21 of the William Hill Derby to finish 3rd and seal a place in the second round draw.

Express Delivery
Oneco Delivery recorded a first class run on Thursday evening to record his first success at Monmore. He started well in the A6 contest only to be crowded on the first bend however he chased the leader hard and forced he way back to the front in the home straight and then to go on to win by 2 1/4 lengths in 28.99.
Moving to Friday, Ballencrieff Lad made it two wins on the bounce when he took the A6 when storming home through the field to win by 1 1/4 lengths by 29.25.

Easter Eggstravaganza
Greyhound racing's newest initiative got underway yesterday at Monmore with the launch of the BAGS/SIS Easter Eggstravaganza. The competition offers a prize fund in the region of £125,000 and will see 16 tracks stage qualifiers ahead of Grand Finals’ Day at Monmore Green on Good Friday 29th March. Finals’ Day will be a 16-race canine ‘eggstravaganza’ and Monmore’s management have vowed to repeat the success of the inaugural BAGS Track Championship final in late 2011.
Steve Nash was on hand to capture Lightning
Sky dead heat for first place in the Puppy qualifier. Sky had lead throughout
the race but a late rally from Paul Sallis's Klockwork Kindra was to deny Sky
the outright win. The winning time was 28.99.

Kara and Blackie record Friday wins
Shades of Kara took today's A3 with a very polished performance. Storming from the boxes she never saw another dog in the contest taking the race by three lengths in 29.03. The consistant Lynns Blackie recordef her first win of the new year when taking the second A3 in 28.58. Perhaps Kara and Blackie will clash next time out in an A2.

No stopping when upped two grades
Takemybreathaway is certainly living up to her name at the moment as she stunned everyone on Friday at Monmore by defieing a two grade hike to A6 to storm to another 4 1/2 length win in 28.63. This was the bitches 4th career win from ten starts and she is starting to show some of her mother pace who was the great Droopys Ivanovic that I trained a good few years ago for great old Ted. A brilliant win and I'm sure connections are over the moon as this bitch started in A10 ! More to come hopefully.........

Proud Peformances
The very promising Prous Eds Queen made it three wins from just six starts when taking this afternoons A3 in 29.24 by a hard fought 3/4 length. The bitch was a very big future over four bends and then six bends as she matures.
Ladie Sadie took the honours in todays first race which look a very competitive A4. Sadie was well away from traps and was never headed taking the race in 29.42.

Track Craft
Good work to report from Monmore Green last night. Dixies Craft put in a top class performance when recorded a huge six length victory in the A2 in 28.65. The 5/4 starting suggests Dixies landed the odds for plenty of the local punters. Dixies Craft became our first win of 2013.
Yorkshire Lady added another win to her super career when taking the S1 with a very strong staying performance. Lady stayed on where in mattered most to take the contest by a head in 38.97.

New Years Eve Party
We finished 2012 with a handful of winners at Monmore. Copeland Razor didn't let the step up to A5 stop him winning again as he stayed on strongly to win in 29.20. Newinn Flutter was another dog who showed his staying power when he stayed on best to take the second A5 in 29.54 by 2 lengths. Bradgate Star who suffered a rise in grade despite winning since he joined us from Nottingham but thankfully he proved the grader was right as he recorded a neck victory in the A6 in 29.48.

Green winners continue as year draws to close
The seasonal break has enabled all the team to have a few days off which is important as we all need to recharge our batteries after a busy year.
Fridays meeting gave us two winners with Catsrock Impact winning her first race over 6 bends when taking the S4 in 39.86. She was returned a huge 10/1, that could have paid for a few presents !
Torchbearer is now moving through the grades and added an A5 to his CV winning in 29.75. This lad will keep improving with the more experience he gets.
Saturday night a few of our stars of 2013 were on show. Atouchofvenus got us rolling when she showed her class in the A1 in 29.07. The going was very slow so she had to dig on all her reserves to get up to win.
Son of Cabra Fly, Kirk Superstar, started his career with a bang when putting in a gutsy effort to win in 29.98. I'm sure this A7 win will be just the start.
Westmead Garcia followed up his debut win with another superp performance when taking the A2 in 29.34. This win was about early pace rather than staying on strong, plenty of options for this lad for the New Year.

Lightning strikes at Monmore
Lightning Sky made a great start to his career with us on Boxing Day when impressing when taking the A4 by 1 1/2 lengths in 29.80. This son of Westmead Hawk x Ballymac Mir could be one to follow in 2013.
The young improving Takemybreathaway made it two wins from his last 3 starts when taking the A9 in 30.05. The 4 length win will no doubt result in another rise in grade but the way this lad is running I could see him winning again.
Another dog in great form is Direct Hit who was sent off a very warm 6/4 favourite for the S2. Hit was slow away from traps but stormed home when others were struggling to record his third win from four starts in 40.55.

Seasonal thoughts and winners
The promising son of Ace Hi Rumble x Kurious Incident ,Who Thought It, made it back to back wins at Monmore on Friday when taking the A5 in 29.34.
Moving to Saturday, Goa Getta impressed when taking the 416 metre open in 25.41. Proud Darkie was sent off a warm 5/4 favourite to make amends for his near miss on debut. There were no mistakes this time as Darkie lead all the way to take the A9 in 29.98.
Westmead Garcia made a stunning debut in typical Westmead fashion when storming home in the A3 by a length in 29.41. This lad looks to be a great addition to the team for 2013.

Day of reckoning for BAGS Championship
This Sunday sees Perry Barr host the BAGS Championship Finals. It has been a fantastic competition once again and Monmore will start Sundays racing as favourites as bid to retain last years trophy win.
Representing us first will be Droopys Julie who looks to have a stiff task in the Bitches race. Farloe Gambit takes his chance in the Stayers race over 660 metres whilst Sidelight will try to continue to build his reputation in the Puppy race.
Try and come along if you and support the might Monmore, come on the Green !

Early Christmas present
The team were on fire at Monmore on Thursday night as we returned home with a bag full of winners.
First to obigle was Farloe Turbo who took advantage of the drop to A4 by winning in 29.67. Shades of Kara is sneaking up the grades and she took the A5 by staying on sweetly to win in 29.92. The pictured Paidis Peata really showed her gutsy spirit when digging deep to take the stayers S2 by a neck in 40.03. Bawna Major was our final winner of the night when he took the final A4 in 29.39.

Queen shines on Monday BAGS
Proud Eds Queen made it two wins from just three starts when taking Monday A5 in 28.89. This young bitch out of Westmead Hawk x Proud Eds Queen looks like a great recruit to the kennels and connections have something to really look forward to in 2013.
More Toe is one of the best bred dogs in the kennels and it was great to see the young son of former kennel star Droopys Ivanovic lose his maiden tag when beating kennelmate and brother Takeyourbreathaway by 1 3/4 length in the A9, stopping the clock at 29.54.

Who would have thought it
Who Thought It made it two wins from his last three starts when taking last nights A6 at Monmore. He was well away from traps but could have easily been put off with the trouble on the run to the bend but he fought his way clear and recorded a 1/2 length win in 29.39.
The July 2011 pup Strategic Review caught the eye in his trials so it was no surprise to see him star on debut. Quickly away from the traps he was never headed in the A3 contest winning in 28.44.

Santa's five star team
A massive afternoon for us at Monmore on Friday as we registered five winners. Old girl Rosmult Plover didn't let a rise in grade stop her winning again as she took the A7 in 29.66. The consistent Shades of Kara is a very consistent bitch who always gives her all and she got a deserved seasonal win in 29.49.
Head Iton Mags romped to a huge 5 3/4 length win in the S5. Her pace pace built up a huge advantage that could not be reeled in, the winning time being 40.33. Farloe Rihanna lost her maiden tag when taking the A8 in 29.86, hopefully this will be the first of many. Our final winner of the evening came from Direct Hit who had to fight all the way to line to win by a short head in 40.03 over the extended distance to land her first S3.

Across the card winners
Seven winners across the cards at Coventry and Monmore was a great reward for the team who have been working so hard of late.
Sarasota Nelson got us up and running when romping to a 5 1/2 length in the D1 Sprint over 263 metres. Nelson simply pinged from traps and was never headed to win in 15.93. Tae Mills proved our decision to switch him to Coventry was right as he landed the A3 in 29.63. Another dog who looks like he had adapted to Coventry is Moscaville who showed plenty of promise when taking the A6 in 30.34. Go Leprechaun made her grading debut a winning one when taking the A5 in 29.80.
Over at Monmore Blue Hurricane recorded his first victory when he took the A10 in 29.59. Galtee Judy has been a model grader though out her career and she added another win to her CV when adding a S2 win this time in 38.38. Our final winner of the night came care of Aphrodites Touch who was sent off a warm even money favourite by the bookmakers. The punters had no worries in truth as Touch made the most of her rails position to lead early in the race and stride to a 28.40 success. This bitch should win plenty of more races.

Having a Barney
Two of newest recruits clashed at Monmore last night. Proud Barney took the honours beating Proud Eds Queen who finished in third in the A6 contest. Both are very nice pups and I'd urge you to follow them over the coming months as they could quickly move through the grades. Last nights winning times was 28.44.
Who thought it had be fancied strongly on his his first two runs but had to settle for place money. The local punters were in no mood to miss out and backed him once again to send him off a warm 7/4 favourite again. The punters had no such worries this times as Who Thought It was never headed to win in 28.80.
Droopys Julie warmed up the BAGS Final with a super staying performance in the A2. Julie suffered traffic problems off the second and third bends but stayed on strongly to win in 28.37.
