Daddy proves best in Golden Crest Final

Poole is fast becoming one of the kennels favourite tracks and once again we returned home to Westview with the prize, thanks to a wonderful run from Daddy Knowsbest who took the Dave Lawrence Golden Crest Final on Saturday.

Breaking quickly from trap three Daddy moved towards the rails with Bush Standard right on his side around the first bend. Daddy made the most of the running rail to run a great two bends to force himself clear of the challenge. Bush Standard chased Daddy Knowsbest all the way to the line however the three length winning margin was just reward for his superb run in the Final to take the £3,000 prize.

The 26.20 winning time was a Track Record which was a real added bonus of the night.
