Our annual ambition to win the Monmore Puppy Derby started again yesterday. The competition never fails to draw the very best pups from around the country.
Strategic Review (pictured care of Steve Nash) laid down his credentials when taking Heat 5 with a simply all round awesome run taking the contest in an impressive 28.25. His 4 1/2 length win may have shocked a few but this lad has pace to burn when he gets a clear run.
He will be joined in next weeks Semi Final by kennel mate Cluxtons Free who finished second to Ericks Gav in Heat 6. This was only the pups second run for us and there is plenty more to come from this youngster.
We finished the day with two graded winners. Westmead Sheba didn't stop the rise to A5 stop her winning again in 28.92 whilst Proud Pigalle continued to increase his reputation by taking the A2 in 28.74.
