Express Flame seemed to take well to the Newcastle track as the fawn bitch took a Northern Puppy Derby Trial Stake when beating kennel mate Joscar by 3 1/2 lengths in 28.69.
Welton Arthur took revenge on our Peggys Style in the Great North Run Trial Stake by beating her a neck in 41.12. Peggys will improve for this outing and will hopefully not run so wide when the competition starts. Farloe Luigi ran on very late in the All England Trial Stake to take a good second in 29.08.
