We are heading to Romford tomorrow night where we will have four runners live on the Sky televised card. Fingers crossed the meeting goes ahead. Ballymac Rumble will take part over 575 metres, Ballyneale Bull is upped in class over 400 metres, Daughter of Peg is in the pups race over 400 metres whilst Bookem Lass tries the marathon trip of 750 metres (non televised race).

Henry and the Wolves join the team
Karl Henry, captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers is joining our kennel. It’s great to get a professional footballer on board. He is set to buy a dog with a few Wolves players. It would be great to see them all up at kennels on one of their rare days off. I’m looking forward to train a plenty of winners for them.
We already have pro dart and snooker players such as Wayne Mardle, Gary Anderson, Darryl Fitton, Tony O Shea, Gary Robson and Mark Selby.
It would now be great to attract some cricketers or rugby players now !

Sooty sweeps kennel to Monday hatrick
Sooty Runs Again did seem to be bothered about a rise in grade without winning when he recorded his first career victory when taking this afternoon A9 in 29.81. I'm guessing the four length win will push up further up the grades. Droopys Malouda appears to be in better form than his Chelsea namesake when he made it three wins from the last four starts. He took the A3 in 29.53. Our final winner was the improving Ballymac Cat who took the A5 in 29.45. A great start to a very cold week !

Farrah and Jess progress in Oaks
On a night of mixed fortunes Ballymac Farrah proved to our only winner of the Saturday evening at both Monmore and Wimbedon. Ballymac Farrah took Heat 2 of English Oaks by three lengths a very pleasing 28.94. Joining her in the second round will be Borna Jessica who took the third qualifying place in Heat 1 in 28.95. Sadly Fatboyz Dizzy failed to qualify from Heat 4 despite her great form in Ireland.

Friday Double
The ultra tough Bawna Gayle recorded career win number 18 yesterday at Monmore as she simply ran away to a six length victory in 29.13. The May 2007 bitch is as tough as old boots and shows not sign of stopping, she now has competed in 109 races ! Report Clean took advantage of a drop to A10 when winning in 30.14.

Great boost for Derby
William Hill gave the sport a great boost this week when they have confirmed they have reached agreement with the GRA to sponsor the Derby once again in 2011, with the bookmaking firm also announcing a series of sponsorships that virtually mirror their commitment this year. There support is instrumental to the sport, so many thanks.

Lucy makes it 3 out of 4
Ballymac Lucy recorded her third win from her last fours starts to give her new owners the Partridge family another pleasing win at Monmore this afternoon.. Lucy had be raised in grade in A5 however this could not stop her running out a length and a half win in 29.48.

Graded winners
We recorded a double on Thursday nights graded card at Monmore. Bawna Gayle made the most of the drop of grade to A6 when recording her first win since July in 29.86. Kentori Girl is another bitch who has not featured on the blog for a while so it was great to see her take the handicap race in 39.78. Ballymac Sun proved to be our only winner on Friday when she took the A7 in 29.57.

Who is joining us on the Rostrum then ?
Fancy a few big nights of the winners rostrum ? If so I have just agreed terms to bring another super bitch in to the kennel. Southern Dooey (Ballymac Maeve x Dooey Lemon) is a brindle 2009 bitch out of the famous Lemon bloodline.
This young puppy has produced 2 outstanding runs in her 2 races to date - winner of her 1st race in 29.46 - she was racing in a final last sat - drawn in 6 -she showed a lovely burst of early and went into overdrive off the 2nd bend. Leaving her opponents chasing shadows she flew up the run in to win in an excellent time of 29.08.
This pup is improving at a rate of knots, She has now reached A1 class after only her 2nd race - she easily will do a 28.80 run in her next few races - with her early combined with her ability to stay 480m very well she will win an endless amount top class races - her dam has already bred major open class in previous litters including Dooey Black -28.67 HX and Dooey Shaw 28.42 Drumbo Park. (File photo).
Price £3,500.If you are interested in owning this bitch please call me.
Good Luck to Partridge Family
The Partridge family have snapped up bargain buys Ballymac Lucy (pictured) and Direct Angie. The family have not dogs for a number of years but our fantastic website has attracted them back into the sport. I'd like to wish them lots of luck with their new recruits.
Leaving empty handed
We had to return home from Doncasters live TV card last night without a winner. Borna Jessica was the most unlucky loser as she was stopped at three different times during the race. Her second place effort behind Bandicoot Frisky was a fantastic effort. Townhill Widtink put in a good effort in the British Bred race but in all honestly had it all to do on form against a couple of high class dogs. Ballymac Rumble was a creatable 4th in the Yorkshire St Ledger Final. He showed some nice early pace but was caught up in trouble in running.

Christmas Owners Morning Announced
After last years fantastic success I will be repeating our Christmas Owners Morning on Sunday 19th December. It will give everyone the chance to taste my wonderful cooking and have a couple of drinks. Last year we were blessed with some super weather and hopefully it will be the same again this year. All owners are welcome and I'm keen to see as many of you as possible. I've booked our photographer who will be on hand to get a few nice shots for the website. It will look forward to seeing you at 10am on the big day !
Malouda scores again
The grading team recorded three winners this afternoon. Droopys Malouda made it back to win wins when taking the afternoons A3 in 29.03. Galtee Seb took advantage of a drop to S5 when recording a three length win in 39.31. Young pup Report Clean recorded his second career win when taking the A10 in 30.15.

Dude remains the one to beat
Derrynaflan Dude (pictured) remains unbeaten after recording another impressive victory despite missing his break last night at Monmore Green. The lad couldn't have made a better start to his career, last nights win was over the shorter 416 metres in a winning time of 24.44. Daughter of Peg remains on the upgrade and she took the 480 Puppy contest in 28.55. Borna Jessica proved the Racing Post's Jonathan Kay was correct was making her his NAP of the day when taking the Bitches 480 in 28.92. Bookem Lass ran a stormer to finish second in the same race.

Scott's Honour
Mixed fortunes for our two runners in the Yorkshire St Leger Semi Final last night. Ballymac Rumble finished 3rd and qualified for the Final. Rumble ran a blinder after slipping badly out the traps. Congratulations to owner Paul Scott who also had Bower Hawk winning the other Semi Final for in form trainer Pat Rosney. Is it a first for an owner to have two dogs in a Category 1 final trained by different trainers ? A deserved success for an owner who supports the sport very loyally. Sadly Ten Dollars More was unplaced in 4th.
Sale prospects both win
Its funny how things turn out some days. Bizarrely two young dogs both on the sale page both won yesterday at Monmore. First to land the odds was the well bred Report Clear who landed his second race, an A9, in 29.31 showing some nice early pace. Surely some one fancies owning this young pup at just £250 ! Other second winner came care of Ballymac Lucy (pictured) who was recording her 5th win from just 13 races. Yesterdays win was in A6 grade in 29.59. Check out her sale page, will be updated later.
Ace sets up clash with Buddy and Lollie
Ballymac Ace suffered a rare defeat on Thursday evening at Belle Vue in the first round of the Showsec Security Scurry. His second place however was a grand effort and now sets up a clash with the Jimmy Lollie and Magna Buddy who took Ace's scalp on Thursday. With just two Semi Finals, three will qualify to the Final. I was more than pleased to get trap 1.
Second: 1 Blood Of Kings, 2 Rotar Wing, 3 Gone To Carrhue, 4 Really Lethal, 5 Shams Star (m), 6 Love Knight (w).
Malouda's deserved success
Droopys Malouda recorded a deserved success in Thursday nights A4 in 29.17. He has been a model of consistancy since his return to track after a few months off but has always found one or two to good for him. Hopefully the win will do wonders to his confidence and he will go on and record a few more successes in the months ahead.

Dooey lights up Limerick

Selecta Stars at Swindon
Selecta Earl (pictured) continued his recent great run of form when taking the Monkey 509er at Swindon on Wednesday evening. This was his third win from four starts and the hard fought short head success was in 30.32. Sadly Droopys Tajmahal and Swift Tinto were unplaced in their races.

Captain Collins in Rose Transfer
The Captian Carl Collins was on the march quickly after I posted Tullna Rose on the Blog last night. A deal was agreed in quick time. I'm over the moon to have another cracking bitch coming in the kennel. I never forget how many good loyal owners I have.
Wheeler is dizzy over Fatboyz
Former kennel hand Rachel Wheeler trained Fatboyz Dizzy overcame dreadful weather conditions when winning the €7,000 JP Moran & Trevor O’Donnell Oaks Final at Newbridge on Sunday evening.
Owned by friend of the kennel Anthony Cameron, the 4-1 chance Fatboyz Dizzy (Top Honcho/ Lughill Emily) got away smartly and raced to the bend with Shelbourne Dawn. From the bend the race became a three dog race as Fatboyz Dizzy led from Shelbourne Dawn with Air Force Ellie a few lengths adrift in third.
Air Force Ellie made her move at the third bend where she forced her way past Shelbourne Dawn and threw down her challenge. But the evens favourite moved wide off the final bend while Shelbourne Dawn challenged up the inside. But Fatboyz Dizzy was very brave in front and she battled on to hold off Air Force Ellie by half a lengths in 28.86 with Shelbourne Dawn three parts of a length third.
This highly rated bitch will now join be using us for a crack at the English Oaks. Rachel has done a tremendous job with this bitch and hopefully this will be many of big races she will win in Ireland. Hopefully this win in the spotlight will attract her many new owners.
Shining Shapphire
The Rob Bayliss owned Bawna Sapphire set the tongues wagging at Monmore this morning when recording 15.55 over 264 metres. This girl is real young baby yet has some serious promise, one to follow in coming weeks.
Ace warms up for Scurry
Ballymac Ace warmed up for the start of the Showsec Scurry Cup at Belle Bue on Thursday with a impressive seven length win at Nottingham last night in 18.03. The heavy track didn't suit any of our runners especially Daughter of Peg who finished a good second in 18.47 and Ballyneale Bull who's 5th place was alot better than its suggests.

Meet Tullna Rose
I have a serious bitch to offer you here. Tullna Rose is a black bitch May 2009 – (Droopys Maldini x Droopys Quiff - dual track record holder). Its pure 'Droopys' breeding.
Tullna Rose made a sensational racing debut when flying from traps to win in an excellent 29.14 at Newbridge. Her dam was sold for 15k after breaking the track record in Lifford - she also recorded a flying 28.39 for the 525 yds at Lifford. Tullna Rose is ideal for all the major puppy open comps. With her sensational breeding she will also make a very valuable brood bitch.
Please call me for a price if interested.
Dancing at Monmore
In shocking weather Are We Dancers (pictured) got his deserved first victory at Monmore this afternoon when he took a tough looking A2 in 29.41. Another dog recording his first win at Monmore was Catunda Federer who landed the A6 in 29.84. Hopefully this will be the first of many wins for both dogs.

Rumble at Doncaster in Yorkshire St Ledger
We returned from Doncaster last night with a positive return for the long journey. In a hotly contested Yorkshire St Ledger with took our three entries. In Heat 1 Ten Dollars More sealed the third qualifying place in 41.92 after showing some nice early pace. Ballymac Rumble (pictured) is in fine fettle at the moment and he impressed when taking Heat 2 in a fine 41.66. Glenagower Champ ran a hard honest race in Heat 4 but could only finish 4th.
Normal service resumed
After a quiet week for the kennel we were back with a bang last night with a hatrick of wins. First to land the odds who went of a very warm favourite was Fatboyz Tedbundy who was smooth 4 length winner in 29.14. Bawna Delta stunned everyone as he romped to a eight length win on debut. He showed a nice bit of early pace in his 29.79 win, I'm sure he will win many more races. The evening racing closed with an A3 which Ballymac Farrah (pictured) won in a convincing four lengths in 29.16.
