Rackethall Hero recorded his 9th win with us when recording another Open Race win when winning in 28.37. Our final winner of the night came care of Ag Dul Amu who won the A6 in 28.64.

Time for a Jig

Little Jig made a winning debut for us last night at Coventry when landing Division A Stakes in 29.19. It is great to have another super bitch in the kennel. Hollywood Idol also won Divsion B in 29.54.

Saturday Double

Two winners on the graded card on Saturday. Broad World was the first to oblige when taking the A6 in 29.23. The local punters plunged on thinking the drop in grade would help returning at 4/6, they proved right in their assumptions. Banna Boy made an instant impact on his debut when running away with the second A6 in an amazing 28.72.

Silver Medal In Gold Cup

We had two runners in the £10,000 Ladbrokes Gold Cup Final this afternoon at Monmore. Centaur Allstar was in trap 2 whilst Rackethall Hero was in trap 4. The race was decided on the run to the first corner. Barbies Man and Rackethall Hero went round clear leaving the others in trouble behind to cause each other problems. Hero chased the leader hard as the photos show but went down by 2 lengths. A brave effort from Hero and Allstar who finished fifth. Congratulations to all the winning connections.

Spuds just Golden

Mashed Potatoes landed the Ladbrokes August Festival Puppy 480 Final this afternoon at Monmore. Quickly away from traps she showed awesome pace to record a mind blowing 27.89 to beat the highly rated Farloe Rocket. The bitch has now won 5 of her 7 starts since joining us winning two out of two opens. Sin City Slicker ran well to reach the Final but could only finish a brave 5th. Many thanks to Dave Yanez who took for photographs for us.

Rocket Man

Highview Rocket had a deserved success in front of Sky cameras last night when winning the "Totesport - Proud Sponsor of Greyhound Racing Trophy". Quickly away from traps he was never headed as he won in 27.65 at 3/1. In the sprint race on the same card Officer Donagh was a good second to Rotar Wing.

It's a Cover Up

I am pleased to offer for sale a bitch called Cover Up that will be a superstar on the Marathon circuit in England. She was one spot of the track record at Enniscorthy over 750 metres and was 2nd to the best stayer (Ferdia Bound) in Ireland on Sunday in the fastest time of year of 750 metres. She was beaten 1 1/2 on Sunday but was clear at the drop. If you are interested in buying her outright or a share please call me straight away as these types of bitch don't often come along. More details on the for sale page.

Hero & Allstar go for Gold

Rackethall Hero heads to the Ladbrokes Gold Cup Final on the back of a fantastic performance when taking the opening Semi Final today in 28.17. He will be joined in the Final by kennel mate Centaur Allstar who finished a brave second to Aulton George in 28.32. Both these dogs were sold off our website page this year ! In the Ladbrokes August Puppy competition we had two winners care of superstar bitch Mashed Potatoes (28.11 winner) and Sin City Slicker (28.31 winner), sadly Indigo King was eliminated. Turar Abit finished 4th in the 630 competition whilst Bawna Elsa just missed on on qualification in the 416 competition.

It's easy as 1....2....3..........

A super treble for the kennel on Saturday at Monmore. Murrman lead the way when making it 2 wins from 3 starts when winning bravely in 28.89 in the A4. Swift Empire produced a nice touch of early pace and was never headed when taking the duplicated A4 in 28.75. Snugfit Flyer landed the third heat of the treble when taking advantage of the drop to A3. Well backed he flew out of traps and never saw another dog to record an impressive 28.34, winning by 8 1/2 lengths!

Kick on Seb

Galtee Seb made a successful debut last night over 6 bends when taking the handicap in 38.61. This was Sebs 4th career win and I'm confident he should keep improving as he is not two until September.

Rev Counter Retired

I am sad to announce Rev Counter has been retired after suffering a torn muscle. He was a great servant who landed our first category one competition when winning the Eclipse at Nottingham. He won 24 times in his career and had wins in 4 different calender years. A special thanks to Rachel Wheeler who looked after "Rev" during the peak of his career.

County Kerry Bound

I'm currently over in Ireland and visiting a number of leading breeders trying to acquire a number of new pups. I will will watching some young pups trial at Liam Dowlings. If you are interested to find out what is available of whether there is another Ballymac Kewell there just call me on the mobile.

A pleasing afternoon for us at Monmore with four of our runners qualifying for the Ladbrokes Gold Cup Semi Finals. Centaur Allstar kicked the competition well for us when taking the opening heat in 28.42. Next to qualify was Hollywood Idol who was beaten just under a length in the same time of 28.42. Nifty Classic dented our hopes of taking heat 4 beating off the challenges of Rackethall Hero & Townhill Widtink. On the grading front we had two winners care of Moscow Duke (A6) and Sadie Blue (A5), who made it four wins from 5 starts.

It's the Elsa show

Bawna Elsa (pictured) bounced back to form this evening when landing the A1 in an impressive 28.22. The four length win against some of the best dogs at the track proved her well being. Now fully fit after her seasonal break she should go go to win many more good quality races.

The Gold Cup 8

We are blessed with eight runners in the Ladbrokes Gold Cup at Monmore on Monday. We entered a couple of extra dogs as requested to support our home competition. Five of the dogs clash in Heat 4 - Rev Counter, Rackethall Hero, Townhill Widtink, Vancouver Dylan, Scotties Warrior. Our other entries are Hollywood Idol, Centaur Allstar and Nats Jedi.

Idol heads for Hollywood

Hollywood Idol finally got off the mark for us last Sunday when landing the Division A Maiden at Coventry on Sunday in 29.58. Bought after winning a hot novice he had struggled to confirm his novice promise. Hopefully this win will kick start his career.

I don't like Mondays

Murrman (pictured) was our only winner at Monmore this afternoon. Slow away from traps he stayed on strongly in the A5 contest to snatch victory in the last stride in 28.98.

Compensation for Widtink

Townhill Widtink gained a deserved victory on Saturday when taking the Shifnal 480 at Monmore in 28.45. Widtink has been a model of consistency since he joined us and it was great to get another win for connections. In the final race of the night we had the first three post the post. Nats Jedi was the one that took the honours in 28.66.

Blue Heavan

Sadie Blue made it three straight wins on Friday with another stunning performance when romping to an A7 win in 29.63. Blue Fox Nicky ran her heart out in her 100th career race to beat kennel mate Bourne Breezy in 39.26. Nicky has now has an amazing 20 career wins on her CV.

Honda keeps on going

Highview Honda brought up his 11th career win on Thursday evening when running away with the A2 in 29.46.
