Warrior on the charge

The improving Ballymac Warrior took another step up the ladder of open racing last night when running out an impressive 2 3/4 length winner in last nights Division 2 open at Monmore. Warrior was quickly away from traps and wasn't troubled in a clear passage in 28.33. 

Corley Royal recorded his first win when taking the evenings A4. Royal over came first bend crowding to win by a length in 29.13. 

Princess shines on gloomy Friday

Shiners Princess returned to winning ways at Monmore yesterday when taking the A4. Quickly into her stride, she showed good all round pace to win by 1 1/4 length in 29.13. 

This win was the 15th of her career from 70 starts, a super bitch to have in the kennel.

Warrior scores on Halloween

Ballymac Warrior proved to be our only winner at a spooky looking Monmore last night.

Warrior had to give the early pace away however was always well placed throughout the race. On the home bend he kicked hard to get up on the line to win by a head in 28.69. There is plenty more winning to be done with this dog mark my words.

We returned from home from Hove disappointed as Express Master was eliminated after finishing 4th in the Olympic Semi Final. We were desperate for this dog to reach the Final but once again suffered traffic problems in running. Another day perhaps....................

Track Craft

Dixies Craft proved to be our only winner at Monmore over the weekend. 

Dixies took the S2 showing a nice turn of early pace to beat kennel mate Ferndale Dollar by 1/2 length in 38.81. 

This was Dixies Craft's 10th career win. A super bitch to train with hopefully plenty more wins to come.

Loose Change proves King of the comeback

This evenings meeting at Coventry saw a debut win for Loose Change owned by James Edwards, Baz Knight, Brian Mallet and Will Adamson.

The D2 graded win at our local track in 16.05 is however only half the story as the lovely son of Scolari Me Daddy suffered a freak and almost life changing incident when travelling to Monmore three months ago. Our vets did a fantastic job with him and its great to see him win tonight for his patient connections.

Blackie in charge

Lynns Blackie added another valuable A1 victory to his record last night. Blackie overcame first round crowding to go on to win by 1 3/4 lengths in 29.07. 

Down at Hove Dixies Craft qualified for the next round of the Brighton Belle when finishing second in Heat 1 in 30.54. A very good run by the consistent bitch. 

Kick on Rosie

Just the one winner for us at Monmore yesterday which saw the young bitch Rosie Kickon record her maiden success. The February 2012 pup was only moderately away from the traps and had to wait until the last bend before taking up the lead and then stayed on well to win by 2 lengths in 29.11. 

It's all about the Dollar

Ferndale Dollar seemed some what over graded when she started with us at Monmore. A2 is a a very tough place to start for any young dog or bitch. Thankfully she has been eased in grade after a number of runs without troubling the racing manager. Last night she did take advantage as she ran on very strongly to take the A5 by 1 1/4 lengths in 29.92 to give connections their first win. 

Thirsty work at Monmore

Its great to see the tracks supporting social media and we were very grateful to win Follow @monmoredogs on Twitter trophy on Saturday with the well bred Ballymac Thirsty. Thirsty showed some nice early pace and then stayed on very strongly off the last bend to take the A4 in 29.07. The young September 2011 pup should go on to win many more races.

Mills and Pony produce the goods

Tae Mills is definitely enjoying Coventry more than he did at Monmore and last night he recorded his third graded win there taking the A1 with an all the way victory in 29.42. Hopefully this nice dogs will keep producing the goods for his connections.

Jennas Ponny recorded her 17th career victory when taking the D1 sprint with a gutsy effort over 263 metres taking the race in 15.94.
