Fireworks leads to disaster

Last night Henlow Derby Final was ruined by a local protester by setting off fireworks as the dogs paraded for the big race. I'd like to congratulate the connections of Shaneboy Spencer who was a deserving winner. Smart Bid's third was a great achievement but I do really feel for the dogs and connections. 

On the supporting card Gaelic Hawk recorded his first open race success when taking the 550 maiden with a superb all round performance. Taking the race by 3 1/2 lengths in 33.74.
