The pre-xmas Christmas Monmore Festival started this afternoon with some fantastic competitions gracing our home track.
We started very well in the Bitches competition with Sidelight chasing home Atouchofvenus (pictured) who took Heat 2 and both clinching a place in the Final with a 28.11 win. Joining those two in the Final will be Weadmead Athena who took Heat 3 with a very gutsy win in 28.53.
We were out of luck in the Dogs competition as Sharp Bullet was unplaced. Peggys Style, Yorkshire Lady and Mays Stopagoback suffered the same fate in the stayers.
Goa Getta will be out for revenge in the 416 Final against Lil Risky as he finished second to Mark Wallis's great open racer in 24.53.
