And thrice more

Friday and Saturday's cards threw up another three winners to add to a sensational end to our year.
Delightful Song is tearing through the grades winning A8 by over 12L and on Friday it was A6 by 5 3/4L in 29.09...on you go son!
On Saturday, Pointless Paloma made it Monmore win No4 when skipping away by 2 1/2L in S2 grade to stop the clock in 38.84.
Most impressive debut of recent times has to go to Hidden Laura, debuting in a tough A2 the May 16' daughter of Confident Rankin gave them a running lesson eventually crossing the line 3 1/2L to the good in a speedy 28.51....put her in your notebooks people!!

An extension to 2017?

We almost don't want 2017 to end!
Three winners to celebrate on Thursday. Amazingly Crocketts Moment hasn't won since his debut 14 races ago back in July but the son of Sparta Maestro doubled his tally with a 28.66 win in A3.
Standbye Athena is enjoying an Indian Summer to her career and made it three wins from her last five starts (all at married man prices too!) when proving too strong for her rivals again in A5 clocking 29.15.
The treble was brought up by debutante Proud Tyrur, the son of Tyrur Big Mike was too strong in the finish and won by 1/4L in 29.05...a very decent effort by the Feb pup and it augurs well for his future at the Green for sure.

Festive Round Up

I hope everyone had a great Xmas.
Just a few winners to get the house in order as we approach the new year.
On Thursday Standbye Athena rewarded her faithful followers with a 6/1 victory in A5, she won by 3/4L in 29.24.
Friday saw Ferneys Signora lead all the way in A5 to win by 2 1/2L in 29.20. Also on the same card, Whiskey Jaydee beat our own Ballycahane Girl by a neck in S3 grade to record 38.88.

On Saturday the kennel notched a double by the way of Cuckoo Martina and Shovel It On. Martina won the A7 in 29.36, she hit the rail on debut but the ease in class bought about an improved second effort. Shovel it On also was having her second ever race, the daughter of Pots and Pans scored by 3/4L in A10 despite early crowding.

Today's Boxing Day meeting again threw up two winners. Dance Leyla has gone from A7 to now A4 winner in a short space of time, 28.95 was her time for an easy 2 1/2L win.
Finally it was good ol' Head Iton Murph who raised a cheer, the classy sort led at the second and put the rest to the sword, eventually crossing the line fully 7L to the good in S1, 37.93 was his time.

Merry Christmas

It was a shocking day weather wise today but fair play to the owners who managed to brave the weather regardless. Hope everyone enjoyed the bacon rolls and tipples, a Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks you all for your continued fantastic support.

Treble!

On Saturday it was a win treble for the kennel courtesy of Faletau, Ballycahane Girl and Slaneyside Angel (pictured)
Faletau who was named after the Wales and Bath Rugby star Toby Faletau blitzed the opposition in A9 class, the August 2016 son of good old Pots and Pans careered away to win by 6L 29.25.

Ballycahane Girl debuted in A3 and after eleven fruitless attempts and remaining in the grade, finally got the big win she deserved, a 1 3/4L victory in 29.07.
Slaneyside Angel continues her slow but steady progress up the Monmore Grades, starting in A10 she has now progressed to winning A6 last night and recorded a P.B of 29.34 in the process.

Double!

The winners keep flowing and long may it continue. On Friday Gavins Jet finally got his head in front after nine races since arriving from Central Park, he won S2 by 1L in 39.19.
In the very next race Santas Ace, pretty much a standing dish in A3 did the business once more when leading at the 4th bend to win by 1/2L in 28.55.

Owners Xmas Party

A quick reminder that its Owners Day Christmas Party this Sunday at 9.30am at kennels

What an end to the year!

We notched a terrific four timer last night at the Green. Coolbegan Taffy got the ball rolling in the first race, after a highly promising debut, the black son of Monmore 480m track record breaker Ballymac Eske made no mistake at the second time of asking winning by 2L in 29.52.
Fernisky Dusky completed a magnificent treble winning A5, A3 and now A2, taking it all in his stride to win each race with the minimum of fuss too...Dusky is going places for sure.
Dance Layla continues her improvement, after adjusting to A5 she too found her feet last night and won well in 29.08.
It was not hard to fancy La Hacha in the Owners Bonus Series Final (pictured) and once he got his head in front he fairly ran away with the event, eventually winning by 6 1/4L in 29.11.

La Hacha

I would just like to thank all the staff for their hard work which they put into all the dogs. The kennel had a staggering 44 winners in November and we are ending the year in some style!!

Chicken Dinners all round

We have a few winners to catch up on.
On Wednesday we saw Dance Vogue show great determination to defy the double upgrade and get back up on the line to win A5 class in 29.17. On the same card Manilla Slippy easily recorded a double (like Dance Vogue) in the 4 dog A6 by 4L in 29.06.
We bagged another double on Thursday courtesy of La Estrella and La Hacha.
Estrella was too good for A8 when keeping a wide path and taking it up off the third to run out a cos 29.40 winner.
La Hacha made it 2 from 2 when winning by the minimum margin in his heat of the A7 Owners Bonus Series and has every chance of making it 3 from 3 next time out in the final.

It was a treble winner day on Fridays afternoon BAGS card mostly in driving snow!
First up was Fernisky Dusky, the son of Zero Ten is rapidly improving, impressive  last week in A5 he was even more so here in A3, eventually winning by 4 3/4L in 28.64...loads more to come.
Cee Jay Kickham, an 8/1 winner on debut in A6 back in October, took the A3 in good style despite early crowding, clocking 28.98.
Our third winner on the card came in the shape of Head Iton Vikki, stepping back up to six bends the daughter of Droopys Jet fairly routed the opposition when winning by 5 1/4L, this despite not leading until bend 6!.

Five Alive

A fantastic five winners at Monmore this afternoon.
In order of appearance, La Rosa made it career win number three from just twelve starts when powering through to win A8 as she liked in 29.64.
Smokestack Levi was next up to the plate, the black son of Vans Escalade led all the way in S2 class for a 5 1/4L romp in 38.76.
Slaneyside Goldi pretty much did everything wrong on her debut but she is clearly a quick learner as despite upped in grade to A6, she was foot perfect in despatching the opposition with the minimum of fuss in 29.31.
Delightful Song has had a couple of sighters at Monmore in A7 after arriving from Peterborough. The drop to A8 was greatfully taken as he avoided carnage at the first corner to win as he liked by over 12L in 29.52
Last but not least we had Chamberlain Zara victorious in S1, the super consistent bitch won by nearly 2L in 38.64

That Friday feeling

It's F..F..F.. Friday and round out time as we start the weekend off.
Wednesday we saw a tasty double courtesy of good old Jaffer, he kept a wide course as usual and ran out a comfortable 1L winner in 28.66 A2.
Slaneyside Angel made it three wins from only nine races when routing them by 3L in 29.30. The daughter of Razldazl George is progressing nicely from A10 to now A6.
Today the kennel recorded a treble on this afternoons BAGS card.
First up was Dance Vogue, after an inauspicious debut where she was KO'd, the daughter of Ballymac Vic made amends at the third time of asking when winning A7 by 1 3/4L in 29.20
Coolagown Blush is becoming a force to be reckoned with now over the 630m as she has now won three out of her last four races, two weeks ago an Open and today the S1 in 38.78.
Last but not least was debutante La Hacha. He kicked off his career in A8 and it proved no problem as he soon led to win easily by 4 1/4L in 29.34, plenty more to come from the son of Farloe Blitz i'm sure.
