We got the Power

Two good winners Saturday to mention in despatches.
Fionntra Chris wasted zero time getting accustomed to racing at Monmore with a smart debut victory in A3 class and at the rewarding odds of 10/1....plenty more to come from this powerful son of Cashen Zig
After blowing away the cobwebs last week, Shunters Power made no mistake in A2 company with a nice show of early pace to put the race to bed at the first bend. He will be a force in top grade all year for sure.

Buerney's the boy

Proud Buerney got back on the horse on Mondays BAGS meeting at Monmore, he'd been paying the price for a three timer way back in September and reached A1 but its taken a drop to A3 to get this victory....can he do another treble????

Is Blue for you?

I have for sale a lovely pup called
Auckland Blue, this September whelp
Bred out of Droopys Scolari x Pleasant Moments had its first ever 480 trial last week at Monmore and recorded a 29.54.
This was his 4th time ever on a track
and i have no doubt Auckland Blue
Will end up being top heat/open class.
Long serving owner Peter Symonds
Has all ready seen the potential in Blue and took a 50% share.
If this pup was in Ireland and doing 29.54 in his first 480, he would fetch
Big money.
A 50% share in this pup is available on a first come first serve basis.
50% share is £1500

Fosters anyone?

Its safe to say Express Foster is officially back to his best after being put up from A7 to A2 last night he made a mockery of his 12/1 sp with another trap to line victory. It certainly gave all of us a warm glow on a very cold winters night!
Take a bow Fozzy

3 wintery winners

The meeting was abandoned on Thursday after three races but we managed a treble this afternoon at Monmore on a very slow track.
Veteran kicked us off in A2 class, a feat soon matched by old warrior Cluxtons Free before Standbye Athena showed guts to take her A6.

Super Nidge

Only 2 weeks into January and we had a terrific winner on Sky at Romford tonight, Gortkelly Nidge did the business for longstanding owner James Edwards and we all look forward to many more in 2016.
We must'nt forget Inaghs Dalcash winning at Monmore on Monday, this time in A3 company and this daughter of College Causeway continues her upward curve despite being a November 2011 whelp!

A toast to Foster

Pleased to see Express Foster back to winning ways today at Monmore.
Foster suffered a Brocken hock in an open race at Perry Barr over six months ago.
After surgery from vets Walpole & Bingham and good rest, Foster has slowly come back to racing, after a few trials and races, by surprise to everyone at the kennels he took off today, full of confidence, back to his near best winning the a7, a long way.
Its great to see Foster and Dublinhill Magic who has recently gone up the grades after hock surgery, get back racing and showing some of their previous class, I would like to thank Tom and Nigel owners of the vets practice, with the great job they have done in Repairing the hock injuries to these greyhounds.

The biggest Impact

Veteran Cape Impact ended 2015 as the country’s most prolific open race winner. The son of Royal Impact went to traps on 45 occasions for 21 wins, and 11 seconds and he never finished last. He won on seven different tracks from 275-400 metres.
